Ingredients:
Garlic – 10 flakes
Tamarind Extract – 1 cup
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seed Powder – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli – 4
Coriander seeds – 2 tsp
Ghee – 2 tsp
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Curry Leavs – 1 tsp
Salt as per taste

Method:
1.  Peel the skin off garlic and grind.
2. Add turmeric powder, salt and ground garlic in tamarind water.
3. Mix the pepper powder and cumin seed powder.
4. Allow it to boil for 5 minutes.
5. Fry red chilli and coriander seeds in 1 tsp of oil.
6. Powder them and add to the rasam.
7. When the rasam starts to boil add 3 cups of water.
8. Fry mustard seeds and curry leaves in a tsp of ghee.
9. Mix with the rasam.
10. Continue to boil for another 5 minutes.
11. Remove and Serve hot with plain rice.
