Latest Khichdi Recipes

Roughly translated Khichdi means a mish-mash or a mixture of two or more food items, mainly a mixture of dals and rice, along with various herbs, spices, vegetables etc.
A khichdi may be dy or moist. Both have the same nutritional value and flavour, as the difference is primarily in the quantity of water used.
Ghee provides additional flavour, richness and texture to a khichdi and the flavour of the dish is enhanced if you sprinkle it with a teaspoon of hot ghee before serving.
