Ingredients:
Mutton Mince – 125 gms, washed, drained
Ghee – 3 tblsp
Green Peas – 1/3 cup, shelled
Cloves – 2 to 3
Cinnamon – 1/2 inch stick
Black Peppercorns – 2 to 3
Onions – 1/2 cup, chopped
Tomatoes – 1/2 cup, chopped
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1/2 tblsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/3 tsp or as per taste
Garam Masala Powder – 1/3 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Method:
1. Heat ghee in a pressure pan.
2. Add cloves, cinnamon, peppercorns, onions and stir-fry till onions turn golden brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
4. Cook for a minute or two.
5. Now add the minced mutton and fry well.
6. Add the green peas and mix well.
7. Pour 1/4 cup of water and pressure cook for 2 to 3 whistles.
8. Remove and once the pressure reduces, open the lid and place the pan over moderate flame.
9. Cook till the keema is dry. If you want a little gravy, remove before all water evaporates.
10. Garnish with coriander leaves.
11. Serve with a lemon wedge.
