Andhra Cabbage Fry

Ingredients:
Cabbage – 1/2 kg, washed and cut into 1/2 inch pieces
Oil – 4 tblsp
Chana Dal – 2 tblsp
Urad Dal – 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Onion – 2, finely chopped
Garlic – 2 tsp, ground
Coriander Leaves – 1 bunch, chopped
Green Chillies – 10 to 12, chopped
Salt as per taste
Coconut – grated, for garnishing

Method:
1. Put the cabbage into a kadai with 1 cup of water.
2. Add salt and cover with a lid.
3. Simmer on low flame till tender.
4. Remove and keep aside.
5. Heat oil in a frying pan.
6. Fry the chana dal, urad dal, cumin to dark brown.
7. Add onion and garlic.
8. Stir well.
9. Add cabbage and cook for a few minutes.
10. Add coriander leaves, green chillies and salt.
11. Mix well.
12. Remove and garnish with grated coconut. Mix.
13. Serve with rice or roti.
