Vadumalli Chicken Kurma

Ingredients:
Chicken – 1 cup
Onion – 1 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste – 3 to 4 tsp
Coriander Seeds – 1/4 cup
Red Chillies – 6
Turmeric Powder – 2 tsp
Green Chillies – 6 to 7
Coconut – 1/4 cup
Saunf – 2 tsp
Curry Leaves – few
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Grind the coriander seeds and red chillies to a fine powder.
2. Grind the coconut to a fine paste.
3. Heat oil in a pan.
4. Add saunft, curry leaves, onions and fry.
5. Add ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes.
6. Add green chillies and chicken pieces.
7. Fry for a minute or two.
8. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt.
9. Add a little water and mix well.
10. Cover  the pan with a lid and let it boil.
11. After 4 to 5 minutes add the ground powder and mix.
12. Add the ground coconut.
13. Mix well and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
14. Garnish with coriander leaves.
15. Serve hot.
