Tandoori Prawns Recipe

Tandoori Prawns
King Prawns – 6
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice – 1 tblsp
Besan Flour – 1 tblsp
Yogurt – 1/2 cup
Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Chaat Masala Powder as per taste
Salt as per taste
Oil for basting

1. Combine 1/2 tblsp lemon juice and ginger garlic paste in a bowl.
2. Marinate the prawns in this mixture and keep aside for 30 minutes.
3. Combine the yogurt, besan, ajwain, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and yogurt in a bowl.
4. Marinate the prawns in this for 3 hours.
5. Skewer the prawns and cook in a preheated oven at 150C/300F for 15 minutes.
6. Remove and hang the skewers for 3 minutes to let the excess marinade drip.
7. Baste with oil and cook again for 3 minutes or till golden brown.
8. Sprinkle chaat masala and lemon juice.
9. Serve hot.
