Kela Ke Dahi Bare

Ingredients:
Green Bananas – 6
Salt – 1 1/2 tsp
Pepper – a pinch
Green Chillies – 2, finely chopped
Fresh Coriander – 2 tsp, chopped
Ghee – 250 gms, for frying
Curd – 4 cups
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp, roasted and ground
Sugar – 1/2 tsp

Method:
1. Boil a large pan of water.
2. Add the whole bananas and cook for 15 minutes.
3. Drain and cool slightly, then peel.
4. Mash and mix the 1/2 tsp salt, pepper, green chillies and coriander.
5. Take a little mixture and make a small ball.
6. Flatten into small circle (baras). Repeat with the remaining mixture.
7. Heat ghee in a deep frying pan.
8. Fry the baras till golden and keep aside.
9. Whp curd and add cumin seeds, 1 tsp salt, sugar and pepper.
10. Arrange the banana baras in a shallow dish.
11. Pour the curd on top to cover completely.
12. Chill till ready to serve.
