Thanjavur Mutton Kothu Curry

Ingredients:
Mutton Keema – 1 cup
Onion – 1 cup
Tomato – 1 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste – 3 to 4 tsp
Dhaniya Powder – 2 tsp
Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 2 tsp
Cloves – 1 tsp
Cinnamon – 1 tsp
Bay Leaf – 1 tsp
Peas – 1/2 cup
Salt as per taste
Water – 3 to 5 cups
Curry Leaves –  1tsp
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Jeera – 1 tsp

Method:
1. In a pressure cooker, add the mutton keema, tomatoes, green chilli, cloves, bay leaf, ginger garlic paste, cinnamon, peas, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dhaniya powder.
2. Add salt and mix well.
3. Add water.
4. Close the cooker and steam cook for 3 whistles.
5. In a pan heat oil and fry mustard seeds, curry leaves, jeera and bay leaf.
6. Add this to the cooker.
7. Mix well and let it boil for some time.
8. Serve hot with plain rice.
