Multi Grain Adai
Ingredients:
Karamani – 1 cup
Pachai Payaru (Green Gram) – 1 cup
Konda Kadalai (Chick Peas) – 1 cup
Red Rice – 1 cup
Corn Rava – 1 cup (available in most provision stores)
Dry Red Chillies – 4
Ginger – 1/2 inch piece, finely chopped
Curry Leaves – few
Coriander Leaves – few
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Asafoetida Powder – a pinch
White Onion – 1, finely chopped
Oil – 1 tblsp
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Soak all the grains overnight with 1 dry red chilli.
2. Soak the corn rava for 15 minutes.
3. Combine and grind together all the soaked ingredients.
4. Add curry leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, asafoetida powder, cumin seeds, salt and onions.
5. Heat a tawa over medium flame.
6. Add a little oil and pour a ladleful of the batter in the center.
7. Spread evenly and pour little oil around the edges.
8. Cover with a lid and cook till done.
9. Remove and serve hot with chutney.
