Mutton Nilgiri Korma

Ingredients:
Mutton – 200 gms
Onion – 100 gms
Tomato – 50 gms
Cinnamon – 1/4 inch stick
Cloves – 1/4 tsp
Cardamom – 1/2 tsp
Green Chillies – 3 to 4
Saunf – 1/2 tsp
Garlic – 4 to 5 flakes
Ginger – 3 to 4 tsp
Chilli Powder – 2 to 4 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 2 to 3 tsp
Curd – 1/4 cup
Coconut – 1/2
Coriander Leaves – 1 bunch
Oil – 50 ml
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Make a paste of garlic, ginger and onion.
2. Make a paste of coconut, green chilli, and coriander leaves.
3. Marinate the mutton in curd.
4. Heat oil, add whole masalas, saunf and the onion and tomato. Fry well.
5. Add mutton and the green paste and simmer (add water for consistency).
6. Check seasoning.
7. Add turmeric powder and the other masalas.
8. Garnish with chopped coriander.
9. Serve with boiled rice or dosa.
