Some people like a hot spicy bowl of vegetable soup whereas some people like to keep it simple and less spicy. Homemade soups are much more nutritious and delicious than the canned vegetable soups and soup packets we find in malls and grocery shops. You can also add some freshly chopped cabbage and dried noodles on the top to make it much more sumptuous and satisfying!
- 1 no Carrot finely chopped
- 6 nos Beans finely chopped
- 50 g Cabbage finely chopped
- a small bunch Coriander Leaves finely chopped
- 1 no Green Chilli finely chopped
- 2 tsp Corn Flour
- 1/2 tsp Pepper Powder
- Salt as per taste
- Mix the corn flour with 1/4 cup of water and keep aside.
- Heat a heavy-bottomed pan over medium flame.
- Pour 3 cups of water and bring to a boil.
- Add the carrot, beans, cabbage, coriander leaves and green chillies.
- Cook till tender.
- Add the corn flour and bring to a boil.
- Remove and transfer to a serving bowl.
- Sprinkle pepper powder and salt.
- Serve hot.
