Lilva Rice
Ingredients:
Basmati Rice – 3 cups, washed and drained
Green Double Beans – 2 cups, boiled
Cinnamon – 2 two inch sticks
Ghee – 4 to 5 tblsp
Cloves – 3 to 4
Salt as per taste

Grind to a paste:
Ginger – 2 tsp, grated
Coriander Leaves – 1 cup
Juice of 1 Lemon
Green Chillies – 6 to 8

Method:
1. Heat ghee in a pan.
2. Stir-fry the cinnamon and cloves for 45 seconds.
3. Add the rice and stir for a few minutes.
4. Add the boiled beans to the rice and mix.
5. Add the ground paste and 6 to 8 cups of lukewarm water.
6. Add salt and mix well.
7. Transfer the contents to a earthen pot.
8. Cover the pot and cook in a preheated oven at 200C/400F for 30 minutes till the rice is cooked.
9. Remove and transfer to a serving dish.
10. Serve hot with kadhi.
