Spicy Mushroom

Ingredients:
Mushrooms – 200 gms
Curd – 1 cup
Ginger – 1 tsp, finely chopped
Chilli Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Coriander – 1/2 cup, chopped
Onion – 1, chopped
Chana Dal – 1 tblsp, roasted and powdered
Groundnuts (Peanuts) – 1 tblsp, roasted and powdered
Oil or Butter – 2 tblsp
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Peppercorns – 4
Cloves – 4
Cinnamon – 1/2 inch piece

Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Add the whole spices and mustard seeds.
3. After few seconds, add the chopped onions and fry till pinkish colour.
4. Add chopped ginger and half the coriander.
5. Stir-fry.
6. Add the chana dal powder and fry till it is golden.
7. Add the curds, chilli garlic paste, salt and turmeric powder.
8. Add mushrooms and cook on low heat for 5 to 10 minutes or till the gravy is semi-solid in texture.
9. Remove and Garnish with the remaining coriander.
10. Serve hot with roti or naan.
