Mushroom Masala Rice


A great dish for School or Office Lunch.
Mushroom Masala Rice

Rice – 2 cups, cooked
Mushrooms – 100 gms
Onion – 1, finely chopped
Tomato – 1, finely chopped
Ginger Garlic Paste – 3 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1/4 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Saunf – 1/4 tsp
Mint Leaves – few
Coriander Leaves – few
Salt as per taste
Oil as required

1. Heat little oil in a pan.
2. Fry the saunf for 30 seconds.
3. Add onions, tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and saute well for a minute.
4. Add the mushrooms and stir well.
5. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and turmeric powder.
6. Mix well.
7. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
8. Add the rice and stir to mix.
9. Garnish with coriander leaves and mint leaves.
10. Serve at once.
