Chicken Tacos Recipe

A quick and easy to make Mexican style Chicken Tacos. Great for lunch, dinner or even as a snack.
Chicken Tacos
Ingredients:
Chicken Breasts – 250 gms, boneless, skinless, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
Onion – 1, small, chopped into 1/4 inch cubes
Sunflower Oil – 1/2 tblsp
Garlic Powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Flakes – few
Tomatoes – 200 gms, diced
Jalepenos – 50 gms, diced
Flour Tortillas – 4, each six inches
Cheddar Cheese – 3/4 cups, grated or shredded

Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.
2. Cook the onions for 3 to 5 minutes.
3. Now add the chicken pieces and cook for 4 to 5 more minutes.
4. Add garlic powder, cumin powder, chilli powder, chilli flakes and stir well.
5. Add the tomatoes and jalapenos.
6. Simmer for 4 to 5 minutes or until thick and saucy.
7. Spoon some of the mixture onto each tortilla and top with cheese.
8. Fold into a half moon shape.
9. Serve at once.
