Honey Lemon Cake

Ingredients:
Flour – 1 1/2 cups
Butter – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 cup
Baking Powder – 1 tsp
Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
Yellow Colour Essence – 2 drps
Eggs – 3
Honey – 1/2 cup
Cream – 1 cup
Icing Sugar – 1/4 cup
Cherries and Lemon rings for garnishing

Method:
1. Sieve the flour and baking powder.
2. Take butter in a bowl and add sugar, cream them till light and fluffy.
3. Add beaten eggs one by one.
4. Beat well.
5. Add flour to the mixture and fold.
6. Add 1 drop colour and lemon juice, honey 1/4 cup.
7. Mix well the mixture.
8. Prepare a cake tin by lining it with a greased brown paper.
9. Put the cake mixture in tin.
10. Bake in a preheated oven at 175C till done.
11. Remove and cool.
12. Sieve the icing sugar and mix in cream and colour.
13. Put the cream.
14. Slice the cake horizontally into 2 equal parts and sandwich with 1/4 part of cream.
15. Spread rest of the cream on cake.
16. Decorate with lemon rings and cherries.
