Fish with Peach and Plum Sauce

Fish Fillets – 4
Olive Oil – 2 tblsp
Oregano Powder – 1 tsp
Pepper to taste
Salt to taste

For the Sauce:
Plums – 100 gms, cut into halves and seeds removed
Peaches – 100 gms, cut into halves and seeds removed
Salt – 1 tsp
Cinnamon Powder – 1/2 tsp
Pepper to taste
Salt as per taste

1. Sprinkle salt on the fillets and keep aside for 10 minutes.
2. Heat the oil in a pan and sprinkle the pepper powder.
3. Pan-fry the fillets on both sides till light golden in colour but not overcooked.
4. To prepare the sauce, Heat 200 ml of water and add the sugar and cinnamon.
5. Add the fruits and simmer on low fire for 3 to 4 minutes till the fruits are tender and the sauce begins to thicken.
6. Remove to a serving dish.
7. Add the warm fish fillets and serve at once.
