Ingredients:
Mutton – 1 kg, chopped into pieces
Curd – 2 cups
Green Chillies – 6
Ghee – 4 tblsp
Green Cardamoms – 10
Cloves – 8
Bay Leaves – 2
Milk – 300 ml
Coconut – 4 tblsp, dessicated
Salt – 2 tsp

Method:
1. Wash the mutton pieces and keep aside.
2. Whip curd and put into a pan with green chillies.
3. Stir over moderate heat just till boiling.
4. Remove and keep aside.
5. Heat ghee in a pan.
6. Fry cardamoms, cloves and bay leaves for 2 minutes.
7. Add mutton.
8. Stir and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
9. Reduce heat.
10. Add milk and coconut.
11. Cover and cook on low flame for 1 1/2 hours.
12. Strain curd into meat, discarding green chillies.
13. Add 250 ml of water and salt.
14. Cook for 20 minutes till meat is tender.
15. Serve hot.
