Ingredients:
Butter Beans – 500 gms
Salt – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Chutney Powder – 1 tsp
Desiccated Coconut – 1 tblsp, powdered

For Tempering:
Oil – 2 tblsp
Curry Leaves – 4
Dried Red Chilli – 1, kept whole
Black Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Urad Dal – 1 tsp

Method:
1. Bring 1 cup of water to boil.
2. Add the beans with 1/2 tsp of salt and 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
3. Reduce heat and cook gently till tender for about 10 minutes.
4. Put the oil in a pan over medium heat.
5. When the oil is hot add the curry leaves, dried red chilli, mustard seeds and urad dal.
6. Fry over medium for about 30 seconds.
7. Add the drained beans and 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder and mix till well blended.
8. Add 1/2 tsp of salt and chutney powder and stir.
9. Add the coconut powder and blend well.
10. Remove from heat and Serve hot.
