Sex on the Beach

Sex on the beach isn’t just a cocktail, it represents an entire genre of drinks promising romantic interludes via liquid libations. Concocted for the swinging set, this sexual innuendo of a drink has spun off many different versions under the same name.

Ingredients:

• Vodka – 1 ounce
• Peach Schnapps – 1 ounce
• Cranberry Juice – 3 ounces
• Grapefruit Juice – 3 ounces
• Maraschino Cherry

Method:

1. Pour all the liquid ingredients into an ice-filled highball glass.
2. Stir and garnish with the cherry.
3. Serve.

Variation: You can also add 3 ounces of fresh orange juice.

Tropical Version of Sex on the Beach

Ingredients:

• Vodka – 1 ounce
• Chambord – 1/2 ounce
• Melon-flavoured Liqueur – 1/2 ounce
• Pineapple Juice – 1 ounce
• Cranberry Juice – 1/4  ounce

Method:

1. Shake all the ingredients except the cranberry juice vigorously with ice.
2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
3. Float the cranberry juice on top.
4. Serve.
