Paneer and Peas Curry

Ingredients:
Fresh Green Peas – 1/2 kg
Paneer – 750 gms
Tomatoes – 2, medium
Oil to deep fry
Butter – 2 1/2 tblsp
Salt to taste
Tamarind Extract – 1/2 cup

Grind Together:
Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
Garam Masala – 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Cardamoms – 2
Poppy Seeds – 1 tblsp
Cashewnuts – few
Onions – 2
Ginger – 1/2 inch piece
Garlic – 6 flakes

Method:
1. Boil peas and keep aside.
2. Cut the paneer into small pieces and deep fry.
3. Remove and plunge it in warm water. Keep aside.
4. Grind the masala.
5. Heat oil in a shallow frying pan.
6. Add ground paste and fry till oil separates.
7. Add boiled peas and chopped tomatoes, water, tamarind extract and salt.
8. Boil till gravy thickens.
9. Mix fried paneer and a little beaten cream.
10. Garnish with coriander leaves.
11. Serve hot.
