Nellikai Thayir Pachadi


Nellikai (Gooseberry)
Nellikai (Gooseberry) – 2, big, washed, grated
Curd – 1/2 cup
Green Chillies – 2, small
Cumin Seeds – 1/4 tsp
Coconut – 1 tsp, grated
Mustard Seeds – little
Urad Dal – 1/4 tsp
Curry Leaves – few, chopped
Oil as required
Salt as per taste

1. Grind together the green chillies, cumin seeds and coconut.
2. Add the grated nellikai and salt.
3. Mix well with curd.
4. Heat oil in a small frying pan.
5. Fry the mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
6. Pour into the pachadi.
7. Serve at once.
