Tamarind Panakam Recipe

Tamarind
Ingredients:
Tamarind Extract – 1 cup (or as required)
Jaggery – as required, powdered
Sukku / Dry Ginger Powder – 1/2 tsp
Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp

Method:
1. Add water to jaggery and stir till it is completely dissolved.
2. Bring to a boil and strain into another bowl.
3. Bring the tamarind extract to a boil.
4. Add jaggery water, ginger powder and cardamom powder.
5. Simmer for 2 minutes.
6. Pour into individual serving glasses.
7. Serve.
