Squid – 250 gms, cleaned, cut into rings
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Maida – 1/4 cup
Egg – 1, small, beaten
Oil – 1 cup, for deep frying
1. Combine the salt and maida in a bowl.
2. Mix well.
3. Dip each squid ring in the beaten egg and then coat it with the maida mixture.
4. Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.
5. Deep fry the squid rings for 5 to 6 minutes or until lightly browned.
6. Remove and drain excess oil.
7. Transfer to a serving plate.
8. Serve at once with ketchup or dipping sauce of choice.
