Mangalore Aloo Masala Recipe

Potatoes – 2, medium, boiled, peeled, chopped
Green Peas – 1/2 cup
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Oil – 1 to 2 tblsp
Green Chillies – 2, small, slit lengthwise
Curry Leaves – few
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt as per taste
Coriander Leaves – few, chopped

1. Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.
2. Fry the mustard seeds till it starts to splutter.
3. Add the green chillies and curry leaves.
4. Fry for 20 seconds.
5. Add peas, potatoes, salt, turmeric powder and coriander leaves.
6. Cook till the potatoes and peas are cooked, about 3 minutes, stirring often.
7. Transfer to a serving plate.
8. Serve hot with rice.
