Sweet Corn Rice

Sweet Corn Kernels
Rice – 1 cup, washed
Sweet Corn – 2 cups
Onion – 1, finely chopped
Tomato – 1, finely chopped
Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tsp
Green Chillies – 3, chopped
Cinnamon – 1/2 inch piece
Cardamom – 1
Clove – 1
Saunf – little
Oil as required
Salt as per taste

1. Heat oil in a pressure pan over medium flame.
2. Add cinnamon, cardamom, saunf, clove, onions, tomatoes, green chillies and stir well.
3. Saute for a minute or two.
4. Add ginger garlic paste, salt, sweet corn kernels and stir.
5. Add rice and pour 2 cups of water.
6. Cover pan with a lid and pressure cook till 3 whistles.
7. Remove and keep aside to cool.
8. Open the pan and transfer the rice to a serving dish.
9. Serve hot.
