How to Make Apple Khoya Halwa Recipe

Fresh Apples
Ingredients:
Apple – 2, peeled, grated
Unsweetened Khoya – 1/2 cup
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
Cashewnuts – 6, sliced
Almonds – 6, sliced
Ghee – 1/4 cup

Method:
1. Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium flame.
2. Add the cashews and almonds.
3. Fry for 30 to 45 seconds and remove.
4. Reduce flame to low and add the grated apple.
5. Stir and cook for 10 minutes.
6. Then add the khoya, sugar and stir again.
7. Simmer till it has a halwa consistency.
8. Keep stirring from time to time so that it does not stick to the sides.
9. Add cashews and almonds. Stir once more.
10. Remove and serve warm or at room temperature.
