Kollu (Horse Gram) – 2 cups
Urad Dal – 1/2 tsp
Bengal Gram Dal – 1/2 tsp
Dry Red Chillies – 4
Asafoetida – a pinch
Salt as per taste
1. Dry roast the kollu till golden.
2. Add the dals, asafoetida and red chillies.
3. Fry for a minute and add salt.
4. Remove and grind to a fine powder.
5. Serve with rice.
This podi is said to be good for weight loss.
