Galinha Cafreal (Spicy Fried Chicken) Recipe

Spicy Fried Chicken
Chicken Legs and Thighs – 500 gms, pricked with a fork
Oil – 2 tblsp

Grind to a smooth paste:
Onion – 1, small
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 1/2 tsp
Green Chillies – 2
Coriander Leaves – 1/4 cup
Black Pepper Powder – 1/8 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Lemon Juice – 1 1/2 tblsp

1. Marinate the chicken legs and thighs in the ground paste for 5 hours.
2. Heat oil in a frying pan over high flame.
3. Saute the chicken for 5 minutes, turning once or twice.
4. Reduce flame and cook covered till tender.
5. Remove the lid and fry till brown.
6. Serve hot.
