Kalonji Machi Recipe

Fish Fillets – 2, cut into bite-sized pieces
Oil – 1 tblsp
Kalonji – 1/2 tsp
Dry Red Chillies – 2
Garlic – 2, small cloves
Onion – 1, small, sliced
Tomato – 1, small, sliced
Coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp
Coconut – 1/8 cup, grated
Water – 1/4 cup
Lemon Juice – 1/2 tblsp
Coriander Leaves – 1/2 tblsp
Salt as per taste

1. Heat oil in a pan over low flame.
2. Add kalonji, red chillies, onions and garlic.
3. Stir-fry for 2 minutes and add the tomatoes, coconut, coriander powder and salt.
4. Add the fish pieces and cook.
5. Simmer for 4 to 5 minutes.
6. Pour in the water.
7. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves.
8. Stir and simmer for 3 minutes or till water evaporates.
9. Transfer to a serving plate.
10. Serve hot.
