Tareli Machi (Fried Pomfret) Recipe

Fried Pomfret
Ingredients:
Pomfret – 1, whole, large
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
Sesame Oil – 1/2 cup
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Mix turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, lemon juice and salt in a bowl.
2. Marinate the fish in this mixture for 45 minutes.
3. Heat oil in a pan over low flame.
4. Fry the marinated pomfret till crisp.
5. Remove and drain excess oil.
6. Serve with lemon wedges.
