* Channa dal -1 cup
* Onion -1 medium finely chopped
* Cilantro – 5 or 6 stripes finely chopped
* Red chilli powder – 3/4 tsp
* Fennel -1/2 tsp(optional)
* Salt – to taste
* Soak the channa dal for 2 hrs. Grind in a blender without adding water.
* Add the rest of the ingredients and make into small balls
* Deep fry in oil until golden brown
