Lemongrass, Ginger and Garlic Vinegar Recipe

  • Lemongrass Stalks – 2
  • Garlic Cloves – 2, peeled
  • Ginger – 1 tblsp, grated
  • Rice Wine Vinegar – 1 cup


  1. Wash and dry the lower portion of the lemongrass stalks.
  2. Crush them slightly.
  3. Cut them if you like small pieces.
  4. Cut the garlic cloves in half lengthwise.
  5. Place the lemongrass, garlic and ginger pieces into a clean jar.
  6. In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the rice wine vinegar until it starts to bubble around the edges od the pan.
  7. Remove from the heat.
  8. Let it cool a bit.
  9. Add to the jar with the other ingredients.
  10. When completely cool, cover the jar and store in a dark, dry place.
