Mullangi / Radish
Ingredients:
Radish – 2, chopped
Tomato – 1, chopped
Onion – 1, chopped
Dry Red Chillies – 5
Ginger – 1/2 inch piece
Curry Leaves – few
Mustard Seeds – 1/4 tsp
Urad Dal – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida Powder – a pinch
Oil as required
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Saute the radish, tomato, onions, ginger, red chillies, curry leaves and salt.
3. Stir-fry for a minute or two.
4. Remove and cool.
5. Grind together and keep aside.
6. Heat oil in a small frying pan.
7. Fry the mustard seeds, urad dal and asafoetida powder.
8. Pour over the chutney.
9. Serve with idli, dosa or chutney.
