Ingredients:
Veppam Poo (Neem Flower) – 1/2 cup
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Ghee – 1 tsp
Tamarind Extract – 1 cup
Oil – 1 tblsp
Dry Red Chillies – 10
Asafoetida Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Seeds – 1 tblsp
Toor Dal – 1 tblsp
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Add coriander seeds, toor dal, dry red chillies and asafoetida powder one by one.
3. Fry till the dals turn golden brown.
4. Add the tamarind extract and salt.
5. Bring to a boil and remove from flame.
6. Serve hot.
Tip: If required, add a little water at step 5.
