Ingredients :
Potatoes – 1/2 kg
Curds – 1/2 cup
Tamarind – lime sized
Oil – 3 tbsp
Green chillies – 2
Jeera – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 1/2 tsp
Salt – as required
Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp

Method :
1.  Boil potatoes and peel the skin.
2.  Mash two potatoes alone.
3.  Dice other potatoes.
4.  Heat oil in a frying pan, Add jeera when it splutters add split green chillies, turmeric, red chilli powder and garam masala in the oil.
5.  Fry for a minute, add curds, mix well add potatoes and tamarind pulp.
6.  Fry well till oil separates.
7.  Garnisg with coriander leaves. Serve as a dry curry.
