Tomato Jam Recipe

Tomato Jam
Tomatoes – 6, medium, ripe, peeled, deseeded, diced
Butter – 2 tblsp
Cinnamon Powder – 1/2 tsp
Nutmeg Powder – a small pinch
Rosewater – 1/2 tblsp
Honey – 1/4 cup
Sesame Seeds – 2 tblsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp or as per taste

1. Heat a pot over medium flame.
2. Melt the butter and add the tomatoes, salt, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, sesame seeds and rose water.
3. Mix well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Reduce flame and allow it to simmer for 25 to 30 minutes or until it has thickened.
5. Add honey and mix well.
6. Cook for another 5 to 10 minutes.
7. Transfer to a sterilized glass jar and keep in the fridge.
8. This stays good for up to a week if kept in fridge.
