Grasshopper Frost Recipe

It’s green, it’s cold, and it’s delicious.

Ingredients:

2 cups ice
1 cup vanilla ice cream
3 ounces vodka
2 ounces white crème de cacao
2 ounces green crème de menthe
Milk, as needed

Method:

1. Combine all the ingredients, except the milk, in a blender.
2. Cover and pulse on and off until the mixture starts to swirl evenly, adding milk as necessary.
3. Blend on high for 20 seconds, or until the drink is completely smooth.

Variations

Almond Hopper Reduce the vodka to 1 ounce. Add 2 ounces almond liqueur (such as amaretto) before blending.

Double Mint Hopper Omit the vanilla ice cream. Add 1 cup mint chip ice cream and 1 small, crumbled chocolate peppermint patty before blending.

Frozen Locust Omit the vanilla ice cream and white crème de cacao. Add 1 cup chocolate ice cream and 2 ounces dark crème de cacao before blending.

Frozen Oreo Hopper Add 4 crumbled chocolate cream-filled cookies to the blender, after the mixture begins to blend easily. Remember to add milk a little at a time if the mixture is too thick to blend.

Merry Cherry Hopper Omit the green crème de menthe. Add 1 ounce white crème de menthe and 1 ounce cherry syrup before blending.
