Ingredients:
Raw Bananas – 500 gms, peeled and cut into thin, long slices
Oil – 4 tblsp
Mustard Seeds – 2 tsp
Small Onions – 15 to 20, chopped
Green Chillies – 10, slit
Curry Leaves – handful
Pepper Powder – 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Add the mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
3. Add chopped onions, green chillies and curry leaves.
4. Fry till onions turn golden brown.
5. Add the banana slices, pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt.
6. Cover pan with a lid.
7. Cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes.
8. Remove lid and stir-fry till it becomes dry.
9. Serve as a side dish with rice.
