Ingredients:
Asparagus – 500 gms
Olive or Vegetable Oil – 2 tblsp
Garlic – 1 clove, large, minced
Ginger – 1 tsp, grated
Water – 2 tblsp
Black Pepper – few, crushed
Method:
1. Cut the asparagus into spears of 1/4 inch slices.
2. Heat oil in a pan over high heat.
3. Stir-fry the ginger and garlic.
4. Add the asparagus spears and stir-fry for 1 minute.
5. Add water, cover the pan and cook till the asparagus is tender but crisp to bite, approximately 2 minutes.
6. Transfer to a serving dish.
7. Sprinkle pepper on top.
8. Serve hot.
