South Indian style Broccoli Recipe

cooked broccoli
Broccoli – 1 bunch, washed, chopped into cubes
Oil – 1 tblsp
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Onion – 1 tblsp, chopped
Salt as per taste
Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
Urad Dal – 1 tsp
Sesame Seeds – 1 tsp
Asafoetida Powder – a pinch

1. Heat oil in a pan over moderate heat.
2. Fry the cumin seeds and mustard seeds till the mustard splutter.
3. Add all the other ingredients except broccoli.
4. Saute for 1 to 2 minutes.
5. Add the broccoli cubes and stir well.
6. Cook until bright green and tender.
7. Transfer to a serving dish and serve.
