Stir-fried Asparagus with Shrimp

Ingredients:
Oil – 2 tblsp
Garlic – 3 cloves, peeled, minced
Asparagus – 300 gms, cut into small pieces
Shrimp – 150 gms, peeled, deveined, tails intact
Soy Sauce – 1 tsp
Oyster Sauce – 2 tsp
Fish Sauce – 1 tsp
Sugar – 1/4 tsp
Thai Chicken Stock – 1/2 cup
Cornflour – 1 tsp, mixed with 2 tblsp water
White Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp

Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan until hot.
2. Stir-fry the garlic for a minute.
3. Add asparagus and shrimp.
4. Stir-fry until asparagus is just tender and shrimp turns pink.
5. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce and sugar.
6. Stir-fry for 30 seconds.
7. Add the chicken stock and cornflour paste.
8. Simmer for a minute.
9. Transfer to a serving plate.
10. Sprinkle pepper powder and serve hot.
