Steamed Mussels Recipe

Mussels – 2kg, soaked and cleaned
Thai Basil Leaves – handful

For the Dipping Sauce:
Lime Juice – 1/2 cup
Fish Sauce – 2 tsp
Sugar – 1 tsp
Coriander Roots – 2, chopped
Garlic – 2 cloves, crushed
Water – 1/2 cup

1. Steam the mussels in a steamer with basil leaves for 10 minutes or until all the mussels are cooked and open.
2. Remove and keep aside.
3. Mix all the sauce ingredients and bring to a boil.
4. Keep aside to cool.
5. Serve the mussels with the dipping sauce.
