Hilsa Roe – 1, whole
Oil – 1 tblsp
Water – 1 cup
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
1. Wash the hilsa carefully so that it does not spill.
2. Put in a kadai with all the other ingredients.
3. Cook till water evaporates on a reduced flame.
4. Cut into one inch thick pieces with a fork and fry till brown.
5. Remove and serve hot.
