Ingredients:
Fish – 4 pieces
Salt as per taste
Mustard Seeds – 4 tsp
Onion – 1/2, sliced
Water – 1 cup
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Mustard Oil
Garlic – 4 cloves
Green Chillies – 3, split
Method:
1. Wash fish.
2. Mix turmeric and salt in a bowl.
3. Rub this mixture on the fish pieces and shallow fry lightly with 2 tsp oil.
4. Keep aside.
5. Grind mustard and garlic.
6. Mix it with water and strain.
7. Heat oil in a pan.
8. Fry onions till translucent.
9. Add the mustard-garlic water and boil for a while till it is thick.
10. Add the fish pieces and green chillies.
11. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
12. Before removing, sprinkle mustard oil on top.
13. Remove and serve hot.
