Almond Saffron Milk Recipe

Ingredients:
Almonds – 1/2 cup, slivered and blanched
Boiling Water – 1 cup
Milk – 3 cups
Saffron Threads – 1/2 tsp
Honey – 4 tblsp
Cardamom Powder – a pinch

Method:
1. Soak the almonds in boiling water for 30 minutes.
2. Drain.
3. Grind the almonds and 1 cup of milk to a fine paste.
4. In a pan mix the almond paste, remaining milk, saffron threads, sugar and cardamom.
5. Simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes, bringing it to a boil.
6. Serve hot or cold.
