Spiced Green Plantains

Plantains – 2
Oil – 2 tblsp
Salt as per taste
Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1/4 tsp
Black Pepper – 1/4 tsp, ground
Plain Yogurt – 1/4 cup

1. Peel the plantains and cut them lengthwise into four pieces.
2. Cut them into thin slices.
3. Heat oil in a large pan.
4. Add the plantain slices and saute over medium heat for 10 minutes, until tender and golden.
5. Add the salt, chilli powder, cumin powder, pepper and yogurt.
6. Simmer on low heat and cook for 5 minutes.
7. Serve hot.
