Mushroom and Peas Curry Recipe

Vegetable Oil – 2 tblsp
Garlic Cloves – 2, minced
Ginger – 1 one inch piece, grated
Button Mushrooms – 600 to 750 gms, halved
Green Peas – 1 cup
Water – 1/4 cup
Tomato – 1, diced
Ground Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Ground Coriander – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp

1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Saute the garlic and ginger for a minute.
3. Add the mushrooms, peas and water.
4. Simmer for a few minutes.
5. Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
6. Add the tomato, cumin, coriander, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt.
7. Simmer for 5 minutes.
8. Serve hot with rice.
