Aratikaya Kura Recipe

Raw Bananas – 2
Kopra – 1/4, grated
Turmeric Powder – a pinch
Salt as per taste
Gram Flour – 1/2 tblsp
Green Chillies – 2, chopped
Onions – 1, chopped
Cloves – 2
Garlic Paste – 1/2 tsp
Oil and Ghee – 1/4 cup, mixed together

1. Wash bananas and boil with the skin.
2. Peel the skin and leave to cool.
3. Cut each banana into 3/4 inch pieces.
4. Mix the coconut with gram flour, turmeric powder and salt.
5. Heat oil and ghee in a pan.
6. Fry the cloves and garlic.
7. Add onions and green chillies and continue to fry.
8. Add the bananas and fry till they become light brown.
9. Serve hot with rice.
