Andhra Fish Fry (Podichapa)

Ingredients:
Fish Fillets – 500 gms
Salt as per taste
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Ground Garlic – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp, dry roasted
Juice of 1 Lime
Oil – 1 cup, for deep frying
Pepper – 1/2 tsp
Ginger – 1 inch piece

Method:
1. Clean the fish and cut into 2 inch pieces.
2. Wash again with salt and turmeric mixed water.
3. Mix salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger, garlic, lime juice and coriander powder.
4. Rub this mixture on the fish pieces.
5. Allow it to marinate for 10 to 15 minutes.
6. Heat oil in a deep pan.
7. Deep fry the marinated fish pieces.
8. Remove and drain the excess oil.
9. Serve hot.
